← Seurakuntatapahtumat / Church events
What's new
- Events are now also looked for in Latin America (Mexico to Argentina), Canada, every US state and many more European countries. A country shows on the front page once its events are found.
- Nationwide events held in a city now also show under that city in the place menu and on its map. They still stay in the country's Nationwide box too.
- The front page's update line now tells how many events, churches and groups and countries the site holds, and how many churches and groups were added since the previous update.
- While the globe turns by itself, events of the coming week come up on cards with a line from their place. A card opens the event's own page. Switch it in the More menu (Spotlight).
- A star sky now shines behind the globe: stars and shooting stars in the Night look, the northern lights in Arctic, a star chart with constellations in Blueprint. In November and December a Christmas star shines too. Switch it in the More menu.
- The feedback address [email protected] works now. It was misspelled before, so messages sent before 7 Nov 2026 may not have arrived: please send them again. Feedback of every kind is welcome.
- A new item “Which churches?” in the globe's More menu tells where the events come from: Protestant churches, evangelical and free churches first.
- The pages open in your browser's language: Finnish for a Finnish browser, English for everyone else. Your own choice is remembered.
- Safety: for the countries where Christians face the most persecution (Open Doors World Watch List), only national events are shown, without addresses.
- Events are read from the church websites on Mondays and Thursdays, so a change may show here 3–4 days later. Always check the event's own page.
- The globe has a More menu: Year shows the coming year's events a week at a time, and Church network joins churches to their nearest neighbours.
- Try the new look (beta) from the More menu or the link on the front page.
- New countries and cities: Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Israel, Iceland, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hawaii and Alaska.
Kortti avaa tapahtuman oman sivun. Valinta on Lisää-valikossa (Nostot).
- Maapallon takana on nyt tähtitaivas: yöulkoasussa tähdet ja tähdenlennot, arktisessa revontulet, piirustuksessa tähtikartta tähdistöineen. Marras–joulukuussa taivaalla loistaa joulutähti. Valinta on Lisää-valikossa.
- Palauteosoite [email protected] toimii nyt. Osoitteessa oli aiemmin kirjoitusvirhe, joten ennen 7.11.2026 lähetetyt viestit eivät ehkä tulleet perille: lähetäthän ne uudelleen. Kaikenlainen palaute on tervetullutta.
- Uusi kohta ”Mitkä seurakunnat?” maapallon Lisää-valikossa kertoo, mistä tapahtumat tulevat: protestanttiset seurakunnat, ensin evankeliset ja vapaat suunnat.
- Sivut avautuvat selaimen kielellä: suomeksi suomenkieliselle selaimelle, muille englanniksi. Oma valintasi muistetaan.
- Turvallisuus: maista, joissa kristityt kohtaavat eniten vainoa (Open Doors World Watch List), näytetään vain valtakunnalliset tapahtumat ilman osoitteita.
- Tapahtumat luetaan seurakuntien sivuilta maanantaisin ja torstaisin, joten muutos voi näkyä täällä 3–4 päivän viiveellä. Tarkista aina tapahtuman oma sivu.
- Maapallolla on Lisää-valikko: Vuosi näyttää tulevan vuoden tapahtumat viikko kerrallaan, ja Kirkkoverkosto yhdistää seurakunnat lähimpiin naapureihinsa.
- Kokeile uutta ulkoasua (beta, englanniksi) Lisää-valikosta tai etusivun linkistä.
- Uusia maita ja kaupunkeja: Itävalta, Sveitsi, Kreikka, Israel, Islanti, Italia, Puola, Ukraina, Japani (Tokio), Etelä-Korea (Soul) sekä Havaiji ja Alaska.
